Metal Detection at Depths of up to 3 m (9.8 ft)

The standard equipment of the Pulse Nova PI metal detector comprises a large and a small dual-wound mono coil. These coils provide good depth performances in the detection of smaller metal objects such as gold and silver jewelry, but also ferrous metals in the underground.

The additional Frame Coil Xi104 provides 1 m² of area coverage and thus scans a correspondingly large magnetic field. In this way, larger objects are detectable and maximum search depths can be achieved. The Frame Coil is used without the Telescopic Rod and can be carried by a single user or by two users.

Coil tests under optimal conditions (test medium: air, sensitivity: maximum) achieved the following depth performances with the PI metal detector OKM Pulse Nova:
